The important thing when writing English is to make sure that you develop no bad habits. Always try to be accurate, even if you must take extra time to check and see what is correct. Also do not be too ambitious - use short sentences with subject, verb and object and without complicated grammar. As you can better, you can try more complex sentences.
But as we say in English "Do not run before you can walk".
